Oxymoron
I'm a blend of contradictions.
What might seem like paradoxes are ways that I create harmony.
Serious Dreamer
My journey to collegiate athletics began with a lofty goal: standing at 5'1, I dreamed of playing Division 1 basketball. Only 1.2% of women high schoolers go to compete at the D1 level (NCSA), and the chances are even smaller with the average college player standing at 5'6 (All American Bowl). But instead of focusing on the challenges, I turned to research. I studied what it took to succeed at the collegiate level, played to my strengths, and executed a plan that would stand out. My big dreams were rooted in data, strategy, relentless determination — and hundreds, if not, thousands of emails too. Ultimately, I reached my goal, earning a roster spot at Wofford College.
That same data-driven approach became a cornerstone of my time as a college coach. Just as I once used stats and analysis to chart my own path, I now used them to map out strategies, guide player development, and create game plans tailored to both strengths and opportunities. Whether breaking down film, building practice plans, or analyzing opponents’ tendencies, I relied on numbers as a framework for creativity, ensuring that every decision was as precise as it was impactful.
